Who We Are

Putting patients first is Ed Young’s foremost priority as part of building a therapeutic relationship. As a Podiatrist, Ed Young has worked collaboratively with other health professionals since 2016 in East Bentleigh, and lives locally in Highett. 

Ed graduated as a physiotherapist from the University of Newcastle in 2011 with a strong biomechanical focus on the lower limb. After working in both private and public hospital settings, Ed decided to further his lower limb education by completing a Masters in Podiatry at La Trobe University, graduating in 2014. This has provided him with a unique skillset to treat lower limb pathologies.

Ed has completed the following APA endorsed courses:

-Clinical Dry Needling

-Clinical Gait Analysis

-Strength and Conditioning for Physiotherapists

-GLA:D – Good Life with osteoArthritis: Denmark  

What we do

  • Ingrown toenail removal and/or surgery
  • Foreign body removal
  • Treatment of solar keratoses and warts (liquid nitrogen)
  • Diabetic foot assessments (including Doppler ultrasound and Ankle Brachial Pressure Index)
  • Biomechanical gait analysis
  • Lower limb rehabilitation and return to sport
  • Trigger point dry needling
  • Prescription of in shoe padding and both over the counter or when required, custom orthoses.
  • Foot care including wound and skin checks

Please note we are a private billing clinic, a referral is not required but we do accept:

Chronic Disease Management GP referrals
DVA and Comcare patients
NDIS self and plan managed patients are welcome with no additional fees paid.

Private Health Fund claiming is available on the spot via HICAPS.
